First 4–6 Hours
- Stay upright — avoid lying flat or bending over.
- Do not rub, massage, or press on the treated areas.
- Avoid hats, tight headbands, facials, or anything putting pressure on the area.
- Try to gently move the treated muscles (smile, frown, raise brows) for about 1 hour if your injector advised.
First 24 Hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise or workouts.
- Avoid alcohol (can increase bruising).
- Avoid excessive heat: saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, very hot showers.
- Avoid makeup for several hours if instructed.
First 48 Hours
- Avoid facial massages, chemical peels, microneedling, or laser treatments.
- Sleep on your back if possible the first night.
- Avoid lying face down or applying pressure to the treated areas.
